I like those kind of fridges. Very convenient having a ice/water maker.

I'm actually thinking about a Smart Fridge too. Wonder if they are actually popular.

Yes. But it only has a water spout on the outside. I didn't want to deal with the bulk/headache of a door ice maker.

I've had multiple over my lifetime and the ice maker always breaks in like the first 6 months.

They're pretty standard these days, but I like mine in particular because it has an auto-fill pitcher that makes it much easier to fill up a tall glass instead of having to push the cup against the dispenser and wait.

I got water in my water tap and ice in my freezer.

probably old ice thats been sitting there a while. I would actually argue the opposite. Ice from ice trays tastes off to me.

Anyways, to answer the question yes I do have those features and its amazing. Would never go back.

I do but there is no water line where the fridge is and I didnt care about running one. I have on occasion made my own ice the old school way with trays and been able to make use of the ice dispenser but not the water. I keep a gallon of cold water in my fridge at all times for drinking. I have had cold water in the fridge my entire life since I was little and my dad did it.

Oh, I mean, no disrespect. I was just speaking from my own experience. When I first used a fridge with a icemaker, I wasnt going through much ice and so when I did use it, it would taste off to me because it had been sitting there for a while. Nowadays, I am filling up my water bottle every day with ice so Im cycling through it much quicker and it taste just fine.

perhaps they just needed to change their water filter.
