Is it a Sega Mega Drive (Genesis) clone? Those are common in Russia (and also in Ukraine and other CIS/ex-Soviet countries).

such a shame that they bombed out one of the best all-time computer museums in the early weeks of the Ukraine war. A lot of last-of-a-kind relics were lost in that.

I don't think they have much of a choice between off-the-shelf Baikal chips or whatever they can get from China's fabs like SMIC.
