I went to Google and typed "are" and it automatically autocompleted for me "are some games of solitaire impossible"

Like what the actual fuck. This can't be a coincidence. From just the first word Google knew what I wanted to ask? There's clearly some spying going on here right?

Around 80% of solitaire games are winnable. It's weird to me that a game was made and became the defacto solo card game when it has a semi-frequent fail state from the get go.

Yeah, things like your phone actively spy against you. Reminds me of one time there was a bee inside of the car and we spent like 15 minutes trying to get rid of it. 5 minutes later I went on YouTube on my phone and all my recommended videos were how to get rid of insects.... Just creepy

Yeah but it's how fast they can track you that's surprising to me. Usually they take days/weeks of tracking to show you relevant ads/suggestions. Not under a literal minute

That's the process of your info being sold, but this is just your computer telling a different part of your computer that you were playing solitaire.
I wouldn't be surprised if the ad process was a lot faster with the advent of AI tho

Think free cell thought of this. Watching my mom play when I was younger I noticed there was game numbers. The cards wherent randomized it was predetermined placements.
I put my heart and soul into my work and I fear I have lost my mind in the process

Yeah I remember windows xp days and playing a ton of freecell. I don't remember losing there, or at least I didn't quit the game until I won

Never played it. Wactjed my mom beat games in mere seconds though since when victory is assured it auto plays the rest. She was addicted to the game for years

That's a feature of the game. Without computer algorithms, it's really hard to tell the difference between an unwinnable game and a game you personally didn't win. As you get better, your percentage rises, but it never hits 100%, which is why people don't get bored. A solo game you won 95% of the time would lose it's engagement.

Lol just wanted to say that because of this post, made me go and play freecell for the first time in 15 years, and it's crazy how I looked and realized I had completely forgotten the rules and how to play.

But what's crazier is that after a couple of clicks it all came rushing back to me and I won my first game. Really got me nostalgic.

I don't really even like arepas. There's a Venezuelan place nearby I like to get food from but I almost never get the arepas there.

For me, "Are some games of solitaire impossible?" becomes the top result when I put in the 'm' in 'games' and is not in the results at all until then, if you want an idea of how much influence viewing this topic has had.

Didn't quite work for me but I was using duckduckgo on my laptop. I still get these double results in chrome anyhow. Solitaire can just be an unwinnable game like that. If I go on youtube mayhaps I'll get more "catered" suggestions. Let's see....not much there, are you garbage is the best one as I do have no confidence or self respect anymore, I do like the band garbage so there is some amusement there.
