I havent had the hardware to do any gaming in about 5 years but Ive kept up pretty well with the big/well-known games and have bought a handful of them so now Im looking for recommendations of lesser known titles.

Man this is a broad request. Do you just mean stuff from the last 5 years?
Keep it green.
Dysmantle is a pretty cool background game. Something to play while you're watching TV.

The Coffin of Andy and Leyley is uh. A thing.

Inscryption is an excellent card game rogue-like kinda thing that you should not look up in the slightest before playing.

The Talos Principle is an excellent puzzle game.

Really depends on what you want. These days a lot of former console exclusives eventually come out on pc, and there aren't a lot of pc exclusives anymore except in niche categories like certain kinds of strategy games or flight sims etc.

Keep an eye on Humble Bundle. While the bundles often aren't so great these days, every once in a while an amazing one does come up. They had an RPG bundle a while back that cost me like $20; I spent 30 hours on one game, tried and didn't like a second, and am nearing 60 hours and still haven't finished a third. And then there's like... 7 more I think? Amazing value right there.

You aren't even really reading my posts; you're just staring at your e-mail client and fondly reminiscing about that hobo you stabbed to death. :P

Some people got it, I think he meant stuff console players never had, ex pc exclusives which I admit I never really thought about, the list is pretty pathetic these days huh?

I would have said rts, crpgs, mmos, and mobas back in the day.

I guess maybe some good rts, if anyone even still makes them anymore which brings up a point I had in another thread about things made for pc

Thanks, Inscryption was on sale so I got it and played it for a few hours. It adds an extra dimension to the genre that really has me engaged, much more than other games of its type that Ive tried.

Yeah you nailed it and Ive been having some fun with RTS games for sure, Age of Empires IV mainly. Its very comfy and nostalgic, I played the originals a lot back in the day.

Modern PC exclusives look like a bunch of indie crap to me. If you want deals check out key sellers like cdkeys.com. They're usually cheaper than steam sales.
This is where cool people write stuff.
