Frankly the entire top brass at NBC who hired her in the first place are the ones who should be sacked. How they thought it would be a good idea to bring on an election-denying, media-attacking hyena like that is an unsolved mystery.

This is what happens when you spend your entire life talking out of both sides of your mouth approaching every single situation without any integrity at all. Eventually no one wants to hear you say anything. A lot of the GOP has this self-inflicted problem.

People like McDaniel-and again, no shortage of them in the GOP these days-bother me even more than the damn MAGA cult. These people know Trump is a disaster for Democracy, know January 6 and the election denial crap is a threat to our government, knows that stupid MAGA is spreading hurt and suffering every day. But instead of doing the right thing and opposing them, they slobber all over Trump and the extremists and enable because it benefits them. Then, as soon as it no longer benefits them, they write books or get jobs where they can cry that they knew it was bad all along.

Makes me sick. Maybe they should try approaching life with even the smallest modicum of integrity.

Technically they were both canned because of their first interview. I think it was Chuck Todd was literally bashing McDaniel with Welker while McDaniel was somewhere in the back or whatever. They very quickly used her interview to call into question her credibly and ability to tell the truth.

I don't think Lemon even finished the whole interview (unless I'm mistaken), so McDaniel wins in that regard if I'm not mistaken, begrudgingly.

It's telling that one of our major """left""" media outlets did something like this in the first place. All of our news and especially cable news is corporate media and they simply offer different flavors of corporate media. At the end of the day, their goal is money and protecting the current political and economic order. They'll do anything that fits within that no matter how heinous and won't do anything that conflicts with that, no matter how necessary.
