I was fully engaged in AoT, in its first episodes. Then at some point,
the main hero gets eaten by a monster and he ends up inside his belly. When you think the situation is dire and hopeless, he then turns Super Saiyan, become super strong, magically recovers his lost limbs and saves everyone.
That's the type of anime Deus Ex Machina I cannot stand.
