OK. But I did post a topic around the time of one of these talking about divorce and whatnot. So yeah, you get a bit of blogpost with this VERY SPECIAL 220 giveaway.
I talked with my wife this week. I actually had a long drivel ready to post yesterday, but figured Id Cliff Notes it today. She is, at this point anyway, done with the marriage. But we have a kid, which complicates it. I apparently bring a negative energy to the home, and she feels better when Im not at the house.
She said a lot of things which, at face value, mightve seemed quite hurtful, but there was some truth to a good portion of it, and none of it was entirely unexpected.
Not sure where it goes from here exactly, but Ill likely be consulting with an attorney next month after spring break and some work trips. Not that I plan on acting fast, or even at all, on anything, but just want to be armed and ready with all the information I can get.
I would ultimately prefer to stay together in our household as roommates. Im in no rush to get out, and it really will be best for the kid. Shes open to that, but also, I apparently bring a negative energy to the home, and she feels much less anxious and stressed when Im not around.
Also, she threw out a hall pass. Said verbatim, I dont care if you date other women or whatever, just dont bring them to the home or get them pregnant. Which was an odd thing to say since my wife knows I had a vasectomy. But shes odd about a lot of things, what can I say. Im not looking to actively engage that pass now at all, but it would be nice to be with someone that shows even a shred of care and affection toward me. As she hasnt for months now.
So yeah, thats enough of that for now.
