thinking that arnold playing a terrifying robot from the future in a lean thriller taking place in grimy nighttime los angeles is better than arnold doing quips and acting like some nerd kid's pet dog while doing big action scenes during the DAY in a 2.5 hour action movie isn't trolling its just my opinion.

It does have an insanely good screenplay but that and a couple neat sci-fi ideas pretty much carry the film.
There's a difference between canon and not-stupid.

The harsh truth is it takes someone whos really into or been educated on cinematography to notice and/or care. The overwhelming majority of people havent been and dont. Thats why arthouse films exist, and why theyre generally low budget with that target audience; while big budget productions target laypeople like myself.
No matter our origin, we are all one family, we all share one planet, and we all need to feel loved and accepted. We are more alike than different.

What are bad examples supposed to prove? I can go buy a flip phone with a camera on it, smear dirt on the lens and shoot something much worse than has already been posted.
