Johnny Dangerously.

I saw this in the theater and will never forget it, because that was the night my mother tripped on her ass in the lobby and spilled a large bucket of popcorn all over the place. It was funnier than the movie.

Who forgot Cool Runnings?

Those who never saw it / weren't allowed to see it.

Ancient news by now, but there was an article in February of 2018 about a high school showing being canceled due to alleged racial insensitivity.

I didn't think anybody else would remember Sgt. Bilko. That movie's hilarious.

For my answer I'll stick with Steve Martin and go with Bowfinger.

I'm seeing a lot of well known 80's classics listed here that ALWAYS get talked about. And a lot of other well known movies. Maybe it is just because I have always watched so much tv but these are mostly movies I have watched over and over.
