Butterflies in my stomach. The ring may not arrive in time, but I'm gonna use one of my mom's rings as a placeholder, because I AM proposing TOMORROW no matter what

I told her to make sure to bring something nice to wear, which I never tell her, and she thought something was up. I'm positive she sensed that I was gonna propose and I had to downplay what we were doing to throw her off the scent, which I know hurt her feelings a bit and that made me feel bad

Yep, the pre proposal jitters are something else. It felt like there was literally something pressing down hard on my chest for days, and once she said yes it disappeared.

Good luck. I proposed last month with a placeholder. It was just a cheap Walmart ring, and I told her we could go pick one out later.

I unusually wasn't really nervous at all because I was 100% certain she would say yes. But if it's been talked about, you should be fine.

Idk where you are but I know here it's easy to find a beach that doesn't have a lot of people at it. Just gotta find a less popular beach. Then again i live close enough to myrtle beach and most people would rather drive the longer distance to go that one cause it's well known despite perfectly good beaches being closer.

I was only excited when I proposed to my now wife. We had talked about getting married beforehand, but she never saw it coming when I got on one knee. She cried hard. Her ring was an emerald surrounded by diamonds, both of our birthstones. Good luck, buddy!
