Theyre releasing this stuff at a MCU rate now. I havent even seen half of Mandalorian yet and have yet to see part 9 >_>the last TV series was Ahsoka several months ago and Part 9 came out half a decade ago lol
Theyre releasing this stuff at a MCU rate now. I havent even seen half of Mandalorian yet and have yet to see part 9 >_>MCU is far more prevalent. This is the first new Star Wars content in a year I want to say while MCU starts filming a dozen projects in the next year.
Is this about a Sith?
wait, what even is thisIt's a TV series set a few hundred years before the Phantom Menace during an era called the High Republic when the Sith were operating in the shadows and the Jedi were at the height of their power.
Theyre releasing this stuff at a MCU rate now.Star Wars is a zombie franchise that Disney keeps locked in a profane, undead state.
We need to jump thousands of years into the future at this pointHundreds of years before, means they really don't have to worry too much.
They just keep jamming stuff into the timeline and if its about new characters they either have to kill all of them or make up a stupid excuse why theyre never mentioned again

Based on the trailer and cast list theres no white men playing a major role in this show, and considering this is a prequel and where the timeline ends up I think thats pretty funny.
Some of those fight scenes felt like a kung fu movie.
Story could be good but visually the show looks CW/Sci-Fi channel quality and that's incredibly disappointing after Andor.Lol no it doesn't. The CW has nothing close to this type of visual effects.
https://youtu.be/f8JQjjImoGw?si=RXcJLyFfEa1KZ7s6Looks cool.
They didn't show it, but if its hundreds of years ago, will we see a younger Yoda? It's possible. Yoda was mentioned in other High Republic stuff.
It's possible. Yoda was mentioned in other High Republic stuff.Yoda is very present in the High Republic series. Even at the time of the HR books he is an aged Master of high regard. Acolyte takes place after the HR books.
So, in The Phantom Menace, Qui Gon was surprised to see someone with a dark force user trained in the Jedi arts, and Mace specifically mentions that the Sith were believed to be extinct for 1000 years. I wonder how they're gonna explain this villain character with the red saber if this is only a couple hundred years before TPM.The simplest way is understanding that not all who use the dark side are Sith.
Are the Young Jedi Adventures kids (now adults?) going to die? They are in all likelihood already dead by the time Acolyte takes place.

They are in all likelihood already dead by the time Acolyte takes place.I think it's only separated by 100 years. Maybe some of the non-human Jedi are still alive? Other than Yoda, of course.
Ki-Adi-Mundi said the Sith were extinct, not Mace.
Also, there is no telling if the threats they are dealing with even are Sith. Sith could be behind things, pulling strings as Palpatine did. But these could just be regular dark Jedi.
Also remember that Jedi and Sith aren't the only factions of Force users. such as the witches of Dathomir. I hope they delve more into other factions we don't know about, which could be gone by the time of the saga.
https://youtu.be/f8JQjjImoGw?si=RXcJLyFfEa1KZ7s6Why does race matter so much?

Okay the canonists have dug up information confirming that the enemy is in fact a Sith and I'm fine with that.Source?
Idk. I'm just worried they are gonna retcon some more Star Wars lore again.
Never mind white menThere's literally a wookie jedi in the trailer.
Where are all of the alien jedi
There's literally a wookie jedi in the trailer.
