When does Deadwood get good? I saw the first episode and wasn't that impressed.

I have rewatched Deadwood many times since it was on originally. Westerns are my favorite genre and Ive always had a propensity to enjoy HBO original series. The majority of them I like a lot and this one was no exception. Its a damn shame this was only 3 seasons. I loved it from episode 1. Just responding to this topic has me wanting to rewatch it right now.

With that being said if you arent feeling it even after only just 1 episode there is a good chance this series just isnt for you. That is if youre being serious and this isnt a typical Sunhawk topic.
