Have any of you ever been written up at your work but then refused to sign it?

almost all place they want you to sign it right? any of you ever refused to do this,what happened when you refused?

People do that at work all the time. It really doesnt matter though.

If youre going to get in trouble you will.

As far as what happens, we just write RTS down for them.

what is rts though, so most places there is no further punishment for not signing it? like everywhere they want you to sign it

Yes when the one manager refused to let me count my drawer cuz a customer came to order takeout in the literal instant we opened(I was scheduled to clock in at exactly opening time) and it ended up being short.

Bitch have me clock in 5-10 mins BEFORE you unlock the doors then.

I did and then they had me have a meeting later with another higher up to sign it.

I put in my 2 weeks soon after 6 years working there.

Any write up is to create a paper trail for when they eventually fire you for a business decision. Dont sign, and start looking for another job.

no but I walked out with no notice from my last job and then got a termination letter I was supposed to sign in the mail a month later

I've had that happen to me and I just record the fact that the individual received the (or refused) the negative feedback and push it to the next level if necessary.

No. I signed it and just put my 2 weeks later whenever i found job real quick.

Didn't refuse to sign it, but I laughed at them for it since they needed me too much to fire me
