Good. Maybe if some of these gun humpers have some tangible consequences, the overall quality of gun owners will improve.

I'm interested in the particulars. How courts decide when to elevate it from recklessness to involvement.

If your kid gets into your locked gun safe or gun box, that's on you.

My dad had a gun safe. I never knew the combination.

Defining "reasonable" security is the tough part. I'm not qualified to say at what point a lock was broken in an extraordinary manner the owner couldn't have anticipated.

yeah most states don't even require all guns to be locked up with a key, nevermind a combination that can't just be found around the house like a key.
