I went to the Xbox boards to see if they were into it and it turns out it's non-functional. It's for display purposes but they are also sending a proper working Series X with it so you still get one.

Microsoft, or, more accurately, the XBox game division head, Phil Spencer, has been talking to SE about an XBox release of FF XIV for almost a decade.

I guess its their way of celebrating this "breakthrough" for XBox consoles. :J
