Yeah there's a lot of cool designs. All the starters have great third forms then there's Vikavolt, Ribombe, Lycanroc and its various forms, Mudsdale

The first that comes to mind is Mimikyuu, but Golisopod is my favorite pokemon period. I'm also a big fan of Guzzlord even though it's ass.

I'm sure there are more I'm not thinking of.

I haven't liked or cared to remember the overwhelming majority of new pokemon designs since gen 4. Even then, I felt most were pretty meh. I probably just aged out.

Yeah almost all pokemon are cool

The only gen with more misses than good designs is gen 3

There are quite a few in Gen 5 I don't like because that gen's Pokedex felt like they were mostly trying to reboot Gen 1's Pokedex rather than add to it

Outside of that though yeah Gen 5 has a lot of really good ones

Quite a few, in fact! I could probably come up with a couple dozen off the top of my head if we count Alolan forms, which is impressive when you consider that "a couple dozen" is a pretty substantial percentage of the gen 7 'Dex~

Do you count alolan versions? Because besides Lycanroc, the only good designs in Gen 7s bullshit were some of the Alolan versions.

Minior is one of my favorite Pokemon in general

Lucky guy. He is a pain to get with the low probability of finding him in Ultra Space. It took me a while to get hm. Got to love that massive HP stat, decent attacking stats, and gigantic movepool though.

Incineroar and Oricorio are among my top 10-15 or so favorite Pokemon of all time, and I also like Vikavolt, Golisopod, Mimikyu, Minior, and a few of the Ultra Beasts. If we include the Alolan forms of older Pokemon, I also like Alolan Raichu, Exeggutor, and Marowak.

I agree with this. Golisopod is incredible and stands out among a good crop
