It just seems rather sad that the country has been in decline for decades. I wonder if Wyclef Jean & Jimmy Jean-Louis could use their celebrity status as famous Haitians to call for an end to the violence.
outside intervention is why Haiti is the way it is. it has a history of leaders being assassinated or deposed all the way back to the 1500s. This is just the latest one.
the US didn't give enough aid after that major hurricane disaster a few years back(no, Trump throwing paper towels at people doesn't help rebuild after almost the whole country is destroyed). almost all the aid we sent was misused and and didn't help the people at all.
