While I missed VII, and obviously haven't played V and VI yet, I have at the time kept up with Dragon Quest (Dragon Warrior) through the Game Boy ports of I & II as well as III. Did have access to a PlayStation and could have still played IV, but it's rerelease, was a no go.

But the FAQ was something I enjoyed reading and the poster's enjoyment of any version of IV matched mine. Especially a certain development of that installment exclusive to the remakes, but apparently was planned in some form in the NES days.

Still have the print out which I stapled to read it like a book. Well the walk through portion.

Spiderman 2 for the Skyscraper Tokens. But of course trying to read vague directions in text form for like 200 tokens, I ended up missing 2 and never found them lol

Never whole guides, those things were massive. I would get a certain dungeon in full at most.

I've never printed out an entire guide, but I've definitely done sections back in the day. Mostly for PS1/PS2 era RPGs.

I mean the DQ one I linked to, I definitely didn't print too long after. At least 2005/6 at latest. Heck I wasn't sure that IV's Nintendo DS port (Let alone V which had two Japan only releases) would come to state.

I printed cheats for Battlefront 2 and Mercenaries Playground of Destruction

I also printed out parts of the Majora's Mask guide and I printed out dungeons 7, 8, and 9 of LoZ1
The name is wackyteen for a reason. Never doubt.

No, but I had a friend who printed a full English translation of Shenmue's script. He got FOMO when it came out in Japan, and imported it. He had them stapled together with page markers, and would read through it on cutscenes.
