Reminds me of the story of they guy that jumped off the Golden Gate Bridge and people found a suicide note saying thar if anyone smiled or said "Hi" to him on the way to the bridge he'd call it off. Dunno if it's true or not, though.

I mean, they are right with saying that we should care or even worry more about others even if they are strangers, but...

... if I would worry about everyone who looks worried while waiting for a train, this would probably mess me up even more.

Not to mention how to deal with the negative backlash and rejection.

Didn't go too deep in the replies but most of them were taking it as Samaritan encouraging women specifically to approach strange men.
