Never played a game like this before but I think I like it. I'm interested in playing this once it comes out I guess. Never been into RTS games though.

Homeworld, is that the space RTS kind of game? I played the 2nd one a long time ago if so and loved it a lot.

That is indeed the one

Never heard of these until recently actually but I only just became a PC gamer like 2 years ago >_>

Homeworld (at least the first) is also unique in that your army carries over between missions. It really helps emphasize the whole survival aspect of the story when you know every loss will carry over to the next mission, which also means finding downtime in a mission to repair and rebuild feels like a good use of time.

Yeah I had to look, Homeworld 2 was 2003, that seems about right for when I played it. I had no idea they made a new one all these years later, and that's pretty exciting because the game was pretty unique and took a lot of my time.

Not sure why, but hearing this may have finally given me a touch of temptation for a gaming PC.

In addition to whatever the story is going to be, it seems there is also a roguelite sort of mode that functions like this.

*pounces* Nyaa!
Are the games hard? Would they be good for someone who's never really played RTS before?

I seem to remember good difficulty settings, I was awful when I started but was able to set it fairly easy to progress til I learned. I don't know how this one will go.

Looking forward to the 3rd.
