Ive been in denial for a very long time, but its finally time for me to come clean.

I like Nu Metal. Its probably the genre I listen to the most currently. System of a Down is my favorite band. I like Deftones, Coal Chamber, Mudvayne, Soil, Flaw, Snot, Taproot, etc.

Shit, I can even do some Korn and Slipknot from time to time.

I get why its a widely hated genre, I really do. But god damn it, I cant explain why but I legit enjoy it. Its time for me to be honest about it, with all of you, and more importantly, myself.

Not really a fan of the genre myself but I can enjoy some SoaD.

I even saw them live years back. It's not typically the kind of show that I usually go to, but I was hanging out with someone at the time who wanted to go, so I went with them.

Well SoaD is one of the best bands ever.

I also like some of Korns and Disturbeds earlier stuff.

I could never get on board with coal chamber seeing as the main guitar riff in Loco is literally just Korn's Blind but with a faster tempo. That just rubbed be the wrong way.

Loco and Sway are probably their worst songs honestly. But give me some Big Truck, Bradley, or Friend any day.

I enjoy a few of the bands from the genre. They main ones have very good stage presence as i have seen them a few times at various venues.

Deftones also strayed away from the nu-metal sound in their first three albums to a more shoegazey sound since Diamond Eyes

I remember when Linkin Park hatred was at an all-time high.
Oh yeah, Linkin Park is awesome, and I hate that I let people convince me they were bad for so long.

I like Nu Metal unapologetically. Honestly, It's possible I have shit taste in the rock genre. Whenever someone makes a "Do you like this band" topic, I'm always like "hell yeah".

I really only know System of a Down and Linkin Park. And I hated Linkin Park for a long time because every fucking anime music video on youtube used one of their songs. Got so sick of hearing them lol.

I don't listen to much Metal, but my favorite subgenre is Swing Metal (combination of Swing Jazz and Metal). Sounds weird but there's a band that really makes it work

I used to listen to Coal Chamber and Korn but don't really dig them much anymore.

Deftones are tops, I like Slipknot and SoaD
