Why didnt they make a good show from the beginningIirc they changed the showrunner and writers this season.
Does it seem like it's going in a direction where eventually the prevailing wisdom will be to tell people interested in the show to just skip season 1 and start on season 2? Or is season 2 still being dragged down by all the season one stuff it has to acknowledge? There's narrative threads that pick up in S2 so at the very least you would need to watch a recap/summary if you wanted to skip S1
I couldn't get more than 10 minutes into S1 Ep1. I might be too big of Halo fan to suffer through it to get to S2.
Maybe so, but I'm not really going to skip a first season of a show with the hopes of S2 being better. That's just not for me.
I lost all interest once I learned he takes off the helmet.Same. Absolutely zero reason for him to take off his helmet, ruins the character

I lost all interest once I learned he takes off the helmet. It's hilarious that fans have wanted to see what's under the helmet for years, then when it's finally off, they want it back on. But anyway, I agree that it should have never come off in the first place.

can I fully skip season 1 and still make sense of S2?That's kind of how it was in the original Judge Dredd movie, and the live action Spawn movie. Probably other examples out there that I don't know of or can think of.
they could've went about it better, using lighting and camera angles to obscure his features like the Halo 4 Legendary ending. but i guess since its a TV show the priorities are different and they want to show everyones faces because acting .
I didnt even know season two was out
