Yeah, from what I'm getting this is more like adding a "here's what the site looked like in 2010" than a reinstatement, he isn't showing up on the actual leaderboard or whatever.

I hate they settled out of court. Doing this Billy can still lie, still act arrogant and egotistical.

I wanted to see him fail miserably in court, not something he could still always dispute and or act like its a victory for him

This. I used to think he was still the record holder than I found out many passed him legitimately. Makes me wonder if Billy is so good why can't he just reclaim the record.

1. There is no evidence he got the score
2. Even if he did get the score there's no evidence he got it when he said he did
3. There's also no evidence he ever played on original hardware when he got the scores
4. The tapes are a complete fabrication made up for King of Kong. He's only salty about the tapes because it proves he played on mame rather than original hardware back when he claimed he got the scores. There's no evidence of him getting those scores on mame or otherwise. By his own admission he never submitted those tapes to twin galaxies for judging, they were made up for entertainment.

Not only has Twin Galaxies confirmed that he's still banned AND his record has still been stripped, but they're literally selling "arcade" and "not arcade" merch on their store that shows the different ways that the DK stages load which prove Mitchell cheated.

Imagine the lawyer who gets stuck with a Donkey Kong high-score case.
