I'm less worried about your safety than I am about how embarrassing that entire thing would have felt. Like there really is no graceful way to fail a bench solo, once it's sufficiently heavy enough. You couldn't even manage a roll of shame here.I have zero shame about it, haha. Even in videos where I crush a lift, my facial expression looks like a constipated ogre so vanity is never in the picture.
