I'm having a hard time understanding this post.

I wanted to argue that the common way of framing the abortion debate is often inaccurate and misleading. Many people portray it as a conflict between men and women, with some even suggesting that men should be forced to undergo vasectomies as a response to the unfair laws that restrict reproductive rights. However, this perspective overlooks the fact that the issue is not about gender, but about rights and life. Conservative women are among the most vocal and active opponents of reproductive rights, while men of color, especially Black men, tend to support the pro-choice position. Therefore, those who advocate for better laws should not make it a gender issue, but rather focus on the real forces that are undermining their rights. The same applies to other freedoms that women are fighting for, such as equal pay and education. There are some women who are nostalgic for the 1940s, when women had fewer opportunities and choices. People want to go back to that time.
