I had a weird dream where I was cutting coupons from the Sunday newspaper

and feeding them into something that looked like a self-checkout machine but instead it created Sentai-style monsters based on the products on the coupon, but also the monsters only lasted until the expiration date on the coupon before disintegrating.

Any chance somebody could make a franchise out of this? I heard Nickelodeon has a cartoon about the adventures of a rock, a piece of paper and a pair of scissors coming out next month so the bar for creativity is apparently extremely low right now.

There was that game where you got monsters to battle with by scanning bar codes.
