Im so bad at this game. Cant jump rope. Cant beat the final bosses eitherThe jump rope section has a couple tricks that make it much easier. The first is to focus on the cloud of dust that appears when the rope hits the ground, you want to press the jump button as soon as you see it. The second is to make sure you tap the jump button as briefly as you can, if you hold it too long you'll do a double jump (the Mario 64 kind where your second jump is higher than your first) which will mess up the timing and get you hit by the rope if it's moving quickly.
There's also a glitch you can do, don't know if they patched it, where Mario can capture one of the letters, take it out of bounds and then stand on top of it to get credit while the jump rope passes over him.Oh, you're right. I saw people mention a glitch for it, but the video I looked at mentioned that it had been patched out.
