Just the ones with just a lap restraint only. I'm afraid that I'm gonna slip out during an inversion or roll.

I really want to ride this but the lap restraint makes me nervous. I guess I gotta trust the engineers who made it.

I was nervous the first time I went on one, but you don't really feel like you're upside down. The parts where the car is tilted to the side were worse for me.

You're not going anywhere, trust me. Steel Vengeance at Cedar Point has similar restraints, just the seat belt and lap bar.

I've ridden Steel Vengeance 50+ since 2018, it's safe and you never feel like you're gonna fall out.

It's nothing to worry about TC. I used to be afraid of rollercoasters to, still an with the more intense ones, but look at it logically:

Hundreds of people ride them a day, and they all turn out fine. You'll be just as healthy after you get off as you did when you got on.

They can be fun if you just let them be, but, bring some Dramamine, just in case.

Im fine with riding roller coasters with inversions, but they all had the over-shoulder harnesses. Ive never been on the ones with just a lap restraint.

I went on one once and I fell off as it turned upside down. Thankfully another ride was passing underneath at that time so I fell safely in a chair.
wtf
Constant isolation and distress.
I rode the velocicoaster. Pretty intense and there is a few parts where you go around curves so fast you feel like you're gonna fall

I'd rather fall off than get stuck upside down for 10 hours

probably not the only one in the world, but it's a similar story to what you're talking about and one I've actually ridden on.

Yeah, I had my concerns about that too at first, but the lap bars are just as safe as over the shoulder restraints (otsr). They keep your lower body firmly in place in the seat, which keeps you from flying up and out of the seat. If the track design has too much side to side motion, then they'll opt for otsr to keep your upper body in place too, but they look over all of that before the coaster opens.

We have a coaster here called hangtime that was my first experience with a lapbar only for inversions. It was so fun that we rode it twice.

Yeah, we have a ride at Six Flags Magic Mountain, called Viper, that I started avoiding because my head hitting the shoulder restraints always gave me a really bad headache afterwards

Yeah, a lot of coasters have been moving away from shoulder restraints to improve rider comfort. It's still safe, despite how it looks lol
