Kaepernick is A) not all that great, and, B) doesn't actually want to play, he just uses the controversy around himself that happened when he kneeled for the anthem to stay in the press. Dude got hired to be in a Nike ad and career wise didn't do anything. He got the NFL to setup a whole trial something or other for him to show off for teams, something they've never done for anyone else, and then didn't show up. He's realized he can grift people for more money than being a bench warmer would have gotten him. Because before the kneeling shit happened, that's all he was, was a bench warmer.
