Couldn't resist. From what I could see behind that giant banner that looks pretty incredible. That beach really sticks out. It looks like an actual busy beach and not just random NPC's standing around.

Interesting they're using Lucia as the focal point of the initial trailer too. Makes it obvious she's a protagonist. If we didn't know the leaks it even looks like she's the main character.

Not sure why some people are surprised by the 2025 release date. There was no way this was coming out in '24 lmao.

It was hard to get a good read on the visuals with the dogshit quality and giant watermark but the beginning and those social media videos looked really promising. I think I could see RDR2 DNA with the character models and lighting.

The live streaming and tiktok stuff is probably gonna be a big part of the game? I can imagine having a social media feed of the characters you meet doing stupid shit in the world. Maybe that'll be a GTA Online thing too.

Red Dead Redemption 2 came out in 2018. Proper development wouldn't have started until after then.

7 years due to COVID impacts and Rockstar trying to stop crunch culture isn't unusual these days.

If it's like 5, they should have basically the whole state in the game

Also I wonder where this leaves GTA 7 being set. 4 was revisiting Liberty City. 5 revisited San Andreas. 6 revisits Vice City. I wonder what they will do when they make 7..... probably over a decade away though
