I think the reason they introduced the "you have been banned from this site" message is because Gavirulax found a glitch where he could post with banned accounts, and the static blank screen was the only fix that CJayC could think of. Before, you could visit the boards like normal, but it would say Username (-2) and you couldn't do anything.
