To hang out.

The first 2 weeks were amazing, we were having sex, doing roadtrips. Hanging out a bunch.

We were long distance for 5 months and she wanted to be on the phone 24/7. We slept on the phone, played games together. Literally hungout constantly over the distance.

But the last week(and part of the second to last week) especially, she barely wants to hang out. doesnt want to cuddle, or be touched. She doesnt even want to text or talk over the phone anymore. Does this relationship sound over?

Long distance relationships are never good ideas.
I wouldve advised visiting her for like a week before uprooting your entire life

damn, that sucks.

idk if it necessarily means the relationship is over, but it's not a good sign. you should definitely talk it out and see what's up, though, especially since you made such a big move to be with her.
Don't you agree, Zach?

God, I hate when girls do that shit. Sorry, king.
No. I wouldn't allow it. The taste would be terrible. Can you imagine Augustus-flavored chocolate-coated Gloop? Eww. No one would buy it.

Did you move to live with her, or live near her? A stupid question but you gotta paint me a picture on how you cant hang out if yall living together.
Initially she wanted me to move in with her, but i gotta place 15 minutes from her instead

I did this 21 years ago, but the first few meetings were visits.

I feel like what you described doesn't particularly bode well for you guys, but communication could shed some light. Gotta figure out if she is just naturally coming out of the honeymoonish but or if maybe she's not so interested.

She's already distancing herself and avoiding you in only two weeks. Yeah sounds doomed. Hope you didn't give up too much to move out there.

Seems like the issue is that you didn't move in with her and now she's distancing herself from you.

Sucks, hopefully you like AZ enough to stay awhile.
Am I going too hard?

Were you not long distance before (i.e. you dated in person then one of you went off to college or something), or is this like a chick you met online who never lived with you initially? Cause if this started out as an internet GF then I'm sorry but this sounds like the most predictable outcome ever

Did you move there only for her? And you had never met her in person prior to the move?

I feel bad, but dude...

Maybe she started rethinking things when you didnt wanna move in with her? If I asked my new girlfriend to move across the country to be with me, and she decided she would rather get her own place near me, Id feel a certain type of way.
she lives in her parents basement. Its a really nice basement granted, but she has a decent job too

You shouldve went in that basement with her, bro. If my girl moved across the country to be with me, and I still had to go to bed alone, Id be pretty disappointed. Granted, thats on her if she didnt voice these concerns before all this though, Im just trying to give a different perspective on all this.
I didnt want to burder her parents lol

Seconded. This SUCKS, but DUDE.

Have at least a job lined up. And if you weren't ready to be with her, together, in your own place, you shouldn't have bothered moving long distance for someone imo.

As another has said, it is amazing how much you might have hurt her by moving in elsewhere instead of actually with her.

You need communication ASAP, because if this relationship isn't already over, it's on critical levels of life support.

I can totally see where she's coming from, in some cultures to not agree to live with her parents mean you're not really accepting her.

Well, I really do feel bad. Relationships fail all the time though. First few months often seem like bliss and then the crazy comes out.

Make sure to have a proper talk with her soon though. Maybe she is just off for some reason? Probably not the case but give her the benefit of the doubt until you talk. Find out if the issue is you not moving in, or not being what she expected once in person, or something else.

Why are people going there? It could be the case but he hasn't actually found out what the issue is yet.

I guess it could be that she's angry he didn't move in with her, but ultimately it could also be that her expectations were somehow not met with who you are in person vs who you are online, or generally what the relationship is in person vs. online.

And I don't mean that as a knock against you TC, there are always growing pains in relationships that sometimes people can't get over. Even people dating in person for 5 months and then moving in together right away don't work because they see things they didn't know about each other or the vibe changes or it's not quite what they thought it would be.

It could be that in person, it's just not the same vibe or energy that she thought it would be, or there was something different about the chemistry from her end in person than there was online that's not matching what the expectation was.

Idk. You really need to talk to her to find out. But as someone else said, this should have been a visit first

Relax. If it is going to work it will work out. You need to communicate with her and listen to her feelings

She doesnt want to communicate. She doesnt want to text or talk on the phone anymore. When im there she wants to watch movies in silence for the last week

It sounds rough, but Phoenix is also a cool city to put down roots in, even if it doesn't end up working out. Hope things work out for you brother

If you ask her how she is feeling, she literally won't answer?

Could she be trying to get you to break up with her to ease her guilt?

it might not be over. you ever get a new phone and you're excited for the first week? but then after the first week, you're used to it. seems like the same thing here. the excitement of finally meeting up is over, but that doesn't mean y'all still don't love each other, it's just normal territory.

Yeah, it sounds like she's done with you, and is NOT taking the mature way out of it. Surprised she hasn't blocked you on multiple avenues, then.

But she doesn't even want to talk to him. This is like getting a new phone and everything is working perfectly then after a week you get all sorts of bugs. Like phone calls randomly dropping, sometimes apps don't want to open, phone rebooting when you don't want to. Like it "works" but there's too many problems
