A lot of slang people think are new have been around for a while. Kids were saying "bet" since the early 2010s, for example.

I'm talking about what's commonly used now. Everyone has been saying yeet for a while, I say yeet and have for a while. A lot of the gen z thing is relatively new to me (although my sister's boyfriend has said some if it for a long time)

I know, this is why I usually just pick one word I like the most from it and try it out here and there. >.>
