SMGs are entirely useless at all ranges unless you play hardcore where they're just

useless - and you have to deal with everyone in the entire game just laying prone in one area the entire match. ARs are fine, battle rifles which are basically just bigger ARs seem better being basically the only gun that can reliably get 3 shot kills.
They gave everyone 50% more health in this game and it doesn't work well at all. Either the servers and hit detection are fucked or something else is going on because it seems entirely random whether guns are 3 hit kills or fucking 6 to 8.
And the matchmaking is the absolute worst I've ever seen. I don't think I'm a great player but I could frequently put up games where I had a 3 or 4 K/D, and my bad games I was still upper half of the scoreboard. My absolute best game in the last dozen or so I've played is one kill over a 1.0.
The old maps also just don't play well with the dumb shit they've added to the series lately - weapon mounting which makes people harder to hit while giving them zero recoil. And the increased movement speed with dumbassery like jumping around corners and slide canceling or whatever the fuck just makes it so whoever moves around like more of a moron has the advantage.
