Besides those without fingernails/those who let them grow out. Bite or clippers?

I stopped biting my nails 7 years ago. Ever since I heard that it was bad for your teeth. Been using nail clippers since then. It took a lot of will power to quit cold turkey. Crazy that I spent 15 years of my existence biting them
