first snow of the year yesterday and TBH it was kinda late. But it went from about +15 to -10 in a span of 12ish hours, so a lot of that snow became ice and caused a lot of car accidents.
Not yet. Whether it will before new years is hit or miss but it will definitely snow at some point.

It's not winter yet, so no.

Do you live in New England?

Chicago usually does not have snow until November and sometimes not until December.

my memory not so good no more - that's all i can remember for now
No not yet.

It's gonna be in the 70's this week, which is kinda crazy for where I live in New York. It'll probably snow in a week or two though.

No, and I don't know if it will this year. I know it will this season, but it usually happens around January
...I think I'm done here...
It was still in the 80s yesterday, so I'm really fucking far away from snow. If it does snow here, it's much more likely to happen in about February or so.
Nope. Been pretty mild here, too

no i live close to the rocky mountains

there was even a school bus that rolled and sent the driver + 5 kids to the hospital. judging from the rural area it was serving, that was probably the majority/all of the riders

We haven't had a good snow here for probably 15 years. When I was a kid it snowed all the time. I remember countless snow days where we'd make tunnels and snowmen. Now we may get a dusting once a year.

No, but first snow is usually just before or just after Halloween
No, it was almost 80 today in the Midwest.

It hasn't snowed where I live in about 8 years now.
I'm talking about actual snow that holds overnight and doesn't melt instantly.

Been 75-80 all month long which is ridiculous since it's almost November.

I dont think its ever snowed here. Doesnt really get cold enough.
I cant imagine living somewhere where it is normal to have da first snowfall in October.

If the trend continues in The Netherlands well get a few snowy days at most and it will stick for a day before turning into black slush. I miss actual winters from decades ago.

Living in cold areas seems expensive.
Heating, warm clothes and boots, stuff like winter tyres for your car, having to shovel snow.
No, thank you.

Im not sure luck has a lot to do with it. I chose to move here.

Also, it gets bloody hot.

We've had a couple freak hail storms, which is really uncommon in Southern AZ, but we've had no snow, and likely won't. We've had more snow in recent years than we typically do, due to more frequent extreme weather events in general, but this year has been fairly hot even for us, so I'm not expecting snow.

It feels like for the past few winters weve been getting less and less snow. Still been cold as shit though.

I think the last snow day of last winter was in April here, so yes?

First chance is this weekend, but it's going to be a very wet, mostly unnoticeable snow.
