I have more free time than most and I struggle to beat a game once. People here will say stuff like "oh yeah, I do my first playthrough as good, then evil, then whatever I want"

You play through one game three times? How? The only game I've played that many times in the last 5 years or so was Armored core six, and it was pretty easy (and very fast) after the first time. Am I just taking my time in games more than I thought or what?
I do drawings and stuff

I'm using the same amount of free time whether I'm playing 4 games or one.

I have 2000 hours in Fire Emblem Three Houses. This is a game that has 4 routes so you have to play it 3 and a half times to see it all. Oh and a DLC side story that's fairly sizable.
My maid will hear about this.

then obviously it's not a matter of 'free time'

focus? attention? dedication? energy? not time.

Depends on the awesome of the game.

Alot of answers like that are more theoretical than ALWAYS.

And some people just really laser in on a few games, than play everything.

They simply play X game multiple times instead of multiple other games. Seems pretty simple.

If I feel like playing, say, Fire Emblem Three Houses for another route, it just means I'm choosing to play that again over a different game, with the time I allot to it.

You can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.

I don't even have the interest to beat a game more than once. Not for years at least.
Less is more. Everything you want, isn't everything you need.

  • Play video games as free time hobby
  • Play video games because don't have anything else better or required to do

They probably are the type to use walkthroughs and the optimal builds so they blast through games very fast.

Theyre the types to go online and ask New to this game. Any tips? instead of playing a game organically.

Some people do play new games like it's their job. Some like their old favs over and over.

It's not that hard if you like a game enough. I only get like one new game a year anyway.
No idea. I'm still playing TOTK. Hoping to beat it soon so I can move on to Spider-Man 2.

the same way people have free time to play a game once,if you have time to play a game once you have time to play it again

just because there's new games doesn't mean i have to play them especially since a lot of them don't interest me and why play new games if i still want to keep playing the older ones and trying new things in them and have fun with them? it kinda seems like you have the fear of missing out, you don't have to play new games just because they exist,it's okay to miss out

do you also go see every movies that comes out?
This is why I never replay games. It's just a waste of time when you can play new games.

but why play new games if you don't complete older game don't see everything they have to offer and have a new experience by replaying the game? and what's so special about a new game?

A new game, just meaning a game I haven't played before, not necessarily brand new

Only times I replay a game are like some remasters/remakes or if it's a game with tons of choices

I do everything I can in a playthrough anyway and I'd rather just experience something I haven't before.
