One of the funniest soccer moments I can think of in recent times. Their main keeper gets injured, and their sub keeper gets a red card out of a dangerous foul. They had nobody else up for the pressure and able to get on the field, so Giroud wore his keeper's shirt and gloves to moonlight as a goalkeeper for a good 5-7 minutes

It was 1-0 for Milan, and the foul that sent off Milan's sub keeper resulted in a free kick near the goal, which was deterred by a lucky goalpost strike

But Giroud makes a smart preemptive lunge for the ball, closing his eyes yet still able to save the ball, later on catching an airborne ball and ending the game 1-0

Best goalkeeper play of the year? Perhaps

Lel nope, he was rightfully red carded. He can't use his hands outside of the box (red card), which was why he was heading the ball, but arguably kneeing somebody while jumping like that is arguably worse.

Also Giroud being listed as a goalkeeper on their site is hysterical
