technically birds are still alive!

also if you mean trex or other dinos in that late era. if tey can survive for 100 million years + then sure they coulda survived another 100

the better question is what would the world look like now? I assume civilization would haev been stunted a bit

No. Any given species will become extinct due to evolution in a few million years assuming it isn't killed off by some other means. But birds are alive and we'd have a much different variety of birds than we do today if there was no asteroid.
It says right here in Matthew 16:4 "Jesus doth not need a giant Mecha."

AS i SAID ABOVE, i disagree

the simple fact that they lived through harsher conditions for 200+ milions years sure the climate is tougher so they wont be as bad but we would haev seen more evolved forms

Did 'dinosaurs' have feathers
just y or n is fine
ofc and not just dino type birds

like I said before, late jurassic we now started to form the land as we know it so some in northern china/russia had seom feathers compared to those in africa for obv reasons

You can disagree all you like but you're wrong.

Question1 : Would it be possible for the dinosaurs to come back naturally in the future assuming the ideal living condition for them (from the supercontinent cycle)?

Question2 : What's the absolute upper limit for marine dinosaur (size/weight)?

Question3 : Are birds real? /s

1) I take this as an evolution question. If oxygen levels ever somehow rise to what it was then we would absolutely see some potential new megafauna types. Maybe. Over the course of 50 million years but to say they would be dinosaurs I would say like new type dinosaurs but not Dinos people billion years ago will call them not dinosaurs but something else for our time period

2) megladon type is about what scientists say it is and that was a big marine animal. What about Spinosarus if you want to call that soemwbat marine. Altho didnt live in water

Remmeber oxygen levels are very very very important if we want to talk about evolving and if things can ever be as big as they once were etc

If you could design your own dinosaur, how would you design it? Would it be an herbivore or a carnivore? Small size or large?

fascinating creatures dinosaurs were.
but im fascinated in how earth developed once it was formed and how we got to this day

the two history facts that spurned me, is the one that surprised me was that we are closer in time to Cleopatra than Cleopatra was to the pyramids

and the one that set me off was this basic common fact that we are closer in time to t-rex than the rex was to the stegosaurus!!!!!!

while these two are common popular facts a, these nevertheless are facts that really sparked my interest and sent me off

why did the theory that dinosaurs were giant chickens gain traction? Its dumb, not to mention that alligators and the like arent birds

So post. Much gamefaqs. Wow.
Meglodon alive or not?
I was born when she kissed me. I died when she left me. I lived a few weeks while she loved me-
A fun/interesting alternative theory about why the dinosaurs went extinct is that caterpillars came on to the scene and that they had no natural predators so they defoliated so many plants that the herbivores couldn't feed.

What are some other interesting alternative theories for dinosaurs going extinct besides a comet impact, OP?

@the_shibe

evolution, obv not chikens but some dinosaurs really somewhat looked liek it kinda?

but think about this, if you dig into the cambrian period, we can say that every dinosaur was once a fish or manta ray type millons years prior

a mammal is from a dinosaur you can track a squirrel back to the triassic or Permian that evolved
