What a weird thing to say about a Bethesda based RPG. Normally, you go through hundreds of hours of gameplay actively ignoring the main quest.

Now they expect me to speedrun through it just to get to the good stuff?

I swear, everything released about this game in the last three months has generated more red flags then hype for me. I think Bethesda is about to shit the bed with this one...

This game comes out in like 2 weeks and I still don't know what about it is supposed to make me interested in it. Skyrim, and even Fallout 4, had really great marketing attached to them that showcased what the game actually is or what is possible in the game. The 30 min+ demo they had on one of the Xbox Showcases only really showed general ideas. I don't even know what this game is other than "Bethesda's attempt at No Man's Sky" which probably isn't even accurate but that's what they're making it out to be.

I dunno, seems kinda typical for Bethesda open world games. Didn't people say that the least interesting part of like Oblivion or Skyrim was the main quest because that can be cleared in such a short time?

Yeah the MQ in any Bethesda game exists as an excuse to get you out in the world interacting with other storylines.

Even New Vegas, which isn't technically Bethesda, follows this formula

nah this wont be another diablo 4 dont worry, only blizzard can mess up that badly
diablo 4 is in a worse state than cyberpunk and/or diablo 3 at launch.
