Nah, I always do. I wouldn't be upset if I saw someone not doing it. I try to look out for older people and if they're parked a ways from the collection point I'll offer to take for them.

Plus, a trick I learned with my kids when they were very little was to park as close to the return area. So much easier to put them in the car and have the return like one row over. I guess that's stuck with me ...
