This weekend? Neither.

I'll probably see both, as I'm always up for a Nolan film and one or my daughters is interested in the Barbie movie.
Irregardless, for all intensive purposes, I could care less.
Barbie first, maybe Oppenheimer later
...I think I'm done here...
Both!

Neither. Normally a silly question but can you actually hear the dialogue in Oppenheimer? For some reason Nolans style is to require subtitles for his more recent movies.
Trying is the first step towards failure, so just dont give it a shot and you cant dissapoint.

Watched Oppenheimer Thursday, I will watch Barbie later today. So many people dressed in pink at the theater today
Genius, Thousandaire, Playboy, Philanthropist
Shit, meant to see both.

Already saw Barbie (was good) with a lot of my family, gonna see Oppenheimer later this weekend with my son - figured Barbie would appeal more to the group.

My wife and mom went to Barbie. Neither liked it much. They didn't expect it to be so on the nose and to have so little to do with the Barbie universe.

I'm not going out of my way to see either, but of the two, it's much more likely that I'll watch Barbie once it's on streaming.

I knew something was up when I saw my coworker change to a pink polo shirt. I wish my wife and her friends gave me the heads up. I literally went in with my full Business Suit because I drove straight from work from an otherwise intense Business Meeting lol. When I got to the theater, one of the workers was like "Nice Will Ferrell cosplay."

I enjoyed Barbie, but felt like it was too on the nose with the message they were trying to send. Even after the Mom gave her big speech there was a pause as though the director expected applause at that point. Also, I did not care for the Will Ferrell stuff.

Still, though, great movie.

just got home from Oppenheimer. i enjoyed it a lot, but i wouldn't call it a blockbuster.

neither. Not interested in either, and the only local theater closed down a few months ago.

Barbie. Not seeing Oppenheimer. I know this might be an unpopular opinion, but I don't need Christopher Nolan's interpretation of a Wikipedia article.

I liked Barbie a lot more tbh. I am surprised at how much I liked Oppenheimer but it's still plagued by a bunch of Nolan's worst traits. I will say the dialogue was noticeably better than all of his other films, the sound design was great, and Cillian Murpy was phenomenal. Cillian Murphy and Matt Damon complimented eachother very well. I hope Cillian Murphy gets more mainstream lead stuff after this because he deserves it. It probably was my favorite Nolan movie but I'm not a fan to begin with.

Neither movie topped MI:DR for me. That was just next level.

I had heard it was banned in a country because of the map depicted in Weird Barbies house.

do you live in Saudi Arabia?

I live in Vietnam. Its banned because of a map featured in the film that the Vietnamese government believe to be endorsing Chinas contested claims to waters that Vietnam feels belong to them.
