If I transfer Pokemon to Pokemon Home and then let my subscription lapse,

what happens to my Pokemon? Do they just sit in there the whole time and I can't access them until I pay for subscription again?

I have almost an entire living dex on Omega Ruby (not counting Moon and onwards) that I will need to transfer at some point
