what happens to my Pokemon? Do they just sit in there the whole time and I can't access them until I pay for subscription again?

I have almost an entire living dex on Omega Ruby (not counting Moon and onwards) that I will need to transfer at some point

I let my subscription lapse for a couple years and my Pokemon were still there.

But you can't do anything with them at all during that time, right? Like can't move them from Home to anything else

Yeah they just sit there until you end up paying for it again.

Game Freak sends you of video of them executing 1 of your pokemon every day until you start paying again
