The karaoke rooms where you have a private room with your friends and pay by the hour for as many songs as you want are SO fun and some of the best nights IMO. There's a ton of these places in NYC
I actually don't like those. I like the bar atmosphere. I like the anxious thrill of strangers.
There was one woman there who was clearly interested. She seemed disappointed when she realized I was taken.
It's funny. Whenever I did karaoke as a single guy, no interest. But when in a relationship, lots of interest. Oh well.
