KH1. Didn't have unskippable cutscenes until 1.5 iirc
Yes.I don't think it's fair to call it a skill issue when the game very specifically sets limitations to what combos and abilities you can actually chain together.
Does it have the mechanical complexity of a Devil May Cry or Bayonetta? No, but it's still pretty solid IMO.
Good thing it's not boring!
No status effectsWhile these are definitely strange exclusions, it's not indicative of the game being "unfinished." It's clear that these were intentional choices.
No elemental.. anything. Elements don't matter
No control over anything to do with party members at all
the story is a damn snoozefest after it basically throws away the original plot*fingers in my ears*
I would definitely consider this a real action game. I can definitely see action game enthusiasts enjoying this one, but I do feel for the guys who wanted a turn based rpg with you know rpg elements. At least there will always be dragon quest.Just to be clear, most turn based RPGs bore me now. I love Action RPGs
RIPThanks for the bump
Watched a combo video that was just uploaded.Yeah, those combo vids are purely just to show off. The real impressive stuff for me is seeing what people can do in actual challenging fights, which is entirely possible in the game.
I'm seeing a bit of DMC5 Nero and a bit of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Merged Zamasu.
It was all power tripping against helpless ragdoll enemies much like DMC5 though. Would be nice to see this combat system in action against something that will try to fight back.
