It's like people cannot separate the thoughts of "someone can be happy despite being really fat" and "being fat is objectively unhealthy unless you work out like a sumo wrestler." For example, having a medical condition doesn't excuse eating a plus sized meal, or eating the most greasy/fatty/sugary foods on the menu instead of water or a salad or even leaner meals.It goes beyond that in some countries though, like the US and Mexico, where the foods have so many added sugars and 'corn syrup' that you specifically have to go out of your way to watch your intake of junk calories. Somebody saying being fat is unhealthy is not them saying anything about wanting them to be a "sobbing mess".We're talking about the extremes, like the people who are unnaturally spiteful towards fat people for some reason. The opposite of the extreme body positivity crowd.
