to assasinate goku you just need a generic laser pistol and wait for goku to not be on guard.

Goku ki-flexed his way through literal timestop like 3 powerups ago. Gojo is cool, and his ability broken in his universe, but Goku had dealt with worse.

Goku flexed on a dude that stopped time by moving faster than the time he stopped, but I don't see what he can do against a dude that uses a paradox as a defensive mechanism.

He uses paradox in a universe where stuff like paradox matters. He's fighting a guy who "moved faster than stopped time". Ignoring the fact that Gojo isn't anywhere near fast enough to tag Goku, and isn't nearly strong enough to hurt him if he does, the whole fight just boils down to either Goku realizing there's a flaw in his technique (like in JJK itself which is what got Gojo captured in the first place) or doing something like going perfect UI Kaioken Super-Saiyan God and then doing Instant Transmission to teleport to the other side of infinity so he can grab Gojo and just toss him into space.

Agreed.

Regardless of the fight and its mechanics, even if Goku just stood still there's nothing that Gojo could do to hurt him.

Ahh what. I just read that gojo's hax is tied to his brain.
. So unless he can perceive things at close to the speed of light he could prob be blitz by goku. Im pretty sure goku moves around the speed of light these days cuz he held his own against dypso who is like the only confirmed speed of light guy in DB. This was outside of UI form too

That said I still think gojo could beat goku via sneak attack. He just needs to obtain a generic laser pistol ( could prob steal one from frieza's henchmen) and then sneak attack goku. Pretty much any character with a laser pistol can beat goku this way.

This is debateable. Purple can erase people and objects from reality and Unlimited Void could just put Goku in a coma.
