can you add a day? it sounds like it will slow down thursday afternoon and it'll be mostly cleanup on friday, but things might be a little backed up, so better to spend that extra day at the resort vs. at the airport potentially dealing with delays. id imagine no delays come saturday

Detroit. It only said freezing rain and sleet with the possibility of snow the last I checked.

Couple friends in Hopkins. Cool downtown. I am more like Inver Grove, which kinda sucks. Hopefully after the wedding, my fiance and I can find a house. Kinda limited by my kids school and their mom's place though. Have to stay near south / southeast metro. Maybe south Minneapolis. Much rather live in a city.

Sorry, rambling...

Winter storm watch in effect though the forecast is only calling for few centimeters.

yea we were house hunting and IGH was about as close to the cities as we wanted to be while still being within commute range. that's where you and i differ - my girlfriend and i aren't big city people but she is still stuck commuting to a building which sucks ass for her

As long as everyone is happy where they are. I just like the feel of a city, especially if one of those neighborhoods that is generally quiet with older houses (but a few blocks from activity). Like South Minneapolis.

We got a shitload of snow last week in Omaha but its pretty much all gone already

We are supposed to get snow, but I dont know how much because the estimates keep changing. Right now its saying about 6.25, which isnt that much all things considered. Hopefully it isnt as much. We have had some days in the low to mis 50s, so hopefully the asphalt and rooftops have absorbed enough heat to help melt the snow.

For sure. Ideally I'd love to live in a downtown condo walking distance from loads of cool shit, but unfortunately, between how expensive that is and our shitty my experiences with shared wall neighbors have been, it just won't ever happen for me ha

Just the usual wonky Ohio weather.
I don't know which is worse: fanboys or elitist.
It's snowing outside right now, but not sticking to anything but the coldest ground. It was close to 60 yesterday. We have a chance of more rain and snow almost every day for the next couple weeks at least. I am in northern Nevada.
I don't know about urinals. Half the guys are afraid to use them and most who aren't afraid can't hit them
it's been in the 50s in MA for most of the winter so we'll probably be getting our blizzards at the end of March
I could see you, but I couldn't hear you You were holding your hat in the breeze Turning away from me In this moment you were stolen...
Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet accumulations less than one inch and ice accumulations of one tenth to two tenths of an inch.

It's supposed to snow all day today and then somehow warm up to the 40s at night and then go back to spring for most of the week

few inches last night but the big part is supposed to start this afternoon

if it ends up being a shitty few inches i will burn the meteorologists guild to the ground

Believe it or not, Anchorage Alaska also got a Snowpocalpyse. It was early last December and the sheer amount of snow in a very short period of time completely overwhelmed the city. Obviously Alaska gets tons of snow but it's usually spread out a lot more.

Both of these.

My kids had school canceled today and tomorrow, but they should have gone today. Oh well, they went back to their mom's now, so can chill for 2 days at home with my fiance. Says she is cooking something fancy tonight.

^ also, hi doggo

same. let's hope so. i want flakes so big they make sound when they hit the window
St. Louis Battlehawks (1-1)
i will say since my most recent post ITT it's a little more blizzardy. the flakes are small but they're picking up and the wind is really killing my visibility out the window. usually i can see a water tower a medium distance away, but that's gone already
St. Louis Battlehawks (1-1)
Now I can see some crows flying around in the swirling snow. Awesome.

My cat is passed out and missing out on the fun

...Well, all we got is rain that's freezing over everything.

No snow at all.

I'm so pissed. So many places are getting huge storms this year and we have gotten like 4 inches total all winter. Fucking bullshit.

Here in NJ winter has barely existed this year.

and half the state away an EF2 tornado happened which is already fairly unusual in the spring/summer but in February? That's real unusual.

good amount on the snow - neighbors left their car out and the pile is up to about the top of the back bumper of what i think is a toyota rav4, so definitely over a foot and still falling

EDIT: Disregard, i had a bad angle from up high. it was barely halfway up the tire. she literally just drove off

what a letdown, this really isnt that much
St. Louis Battlehawks (1-1)
Looks like around a foot and may get a couple more inches before done this morning. So about 6 to 10 inches less than originally expected.

We live in a townhouse so at least we won't have to do a lot of shoveling when we return..

And this guy is nuts

We have anywhere from 8 inches to a foot coming between today and tomorrow, a break Sunday, theh 3 to 6 more on Monday. At this point I don't think we're even going to have a spring this year, just 3 more months of snow and freezing temps then maybe a warmup come June.
I don't know about urinals. Half the guys are afraid to use them and most who aren't afraid can't hit them
got ours a couple days ago in SL,UT
