Shenmue 1 is my favorite game of all time.
Sonic is one of my all time favorite series, along with Yakuza (and of course Shenmue).

I was definitely, and still remain - a Sega person.

As weird as it seems, I'd probably put Sonic Adventure 2 in my top 10

It's a game I've consistently come back to over the years for the music, its cheesy presentation, the freedom it gives (unintentional or otherwise) for speeding through stages, and the Chao garden

It's so jank in a lot of ways but I'll probably still be playing it now and then for the rest of my life

I'm going to say no. Persona 4 is one of my top five video games of all time, but it was developed before Atlus was bought by Sega Sammy. So, technically not.
Face it Cloud is a gaming icon and has appered in lots of games while mario has only appeared in 2 games sunshine and 64 ~xSlashbomBx

I don't know if it's top ten right now but Virtua Fighter 4 Evo would be the closest.

No. I picked the Nintendo side as a kid as did most of my friends so I didnt get the chance to play much Sega stuff in its prime and dont have nostalgia for it. Eventually there was emulation and actual legal compilations so I got to try the games I thought looked cool. Most of them sucked or were okay at best. Something Sonic does indeed look really cool but after a couple levels arent actually fun to play.

I don't know if F Zero GX is in my top 10 but it's absolutely a contender.

I wholeheartedly believe PSO is a perfect game with no legitimate flaws. The only issues came from the players exploiting GameShark.

The Mines are my least favorite level too, due to always rolling a HUmar and getting literally bitchslapped by legions of Gil/Dubchics. Awesome music though.
